Erockus Arcade overview
Erockus Arcade is designed to simplify the use of SDLMAME. It's an interface (front-end) app for SDLMAME. It does not actually play games.
Erockus Arcade is not supported nor endorsed by the people behind SDLMAME, and it may not work with all versions of SDLMAME.
Note: For those who may not know, MAME dev's have gone to releasing MAME to every other month, however release cycles may very. Therefore new versions of Erockus Arcade will follow suit with exceptions for bug fixes and the like.
Currently MAME .290 is in a longer development cycle.

Unable to detect rom path after several configurations. Also crashes from some null exception error. Would rate negative stars if possible.

The only FE for MAME I can use for macOS without using Bootcamp. It's also the only actively developed nowadays.
Good job !

MAME frontends are tricky. The good ones on Windows cost a fair amount of money. It's really nice this one is free, and is pretty good. I give it a star off because it's a bit fiddly to configure. I'm adding that star back to counteract the weird one-star review. One note: your full paths to ROMs can't have any spaces in them. (developer - either quote or escape paths...). Once I got that fixed, I'm happily running MAME. Very cool that this keeps up to date with sdlMAME versions so quickly. Thanks!
